30 Weeks!!!

Matt and I are having a hard time believing that we are 7 and a half months along already! Seriously, where has the time gone? I know we say that often but looking at the calendar, we're already half way through October and in 10 weeks, (give or take), we get to meet our sweet little boy! :)  What a joy - what a blessing!!!

I am almost done with my last class -- 2 weeks to go and then I can throw in the towel!  I gave a presentation/workshop to my K-2 colleagues this past Tuesday! It was a great experience.  I talked to them about combining vocabulary instruction into a read-aloud setting.  They each planned a lesson during the workshop and are implementing them in their classes so that I can see how it worked for them and to find out what they like/didn't like.  It was a very humbling experience to be able to work with such a great team of teachers!

All prayers for wrapping up school are welcomed! :)

Our weekends seem to consist of small house projects, school work, and church.  It's all awesome and keeps us busy!  Matt has been working on building a mailbox.  He's almost done with it and should finish it by the end of the month.  It looks amazing!  I'm really proud of him!

I went to Old Navy last night with the intention of buying some items for myself because I had a gift card, but I came out of the store with three things and none of them were for me! I got three things for Luke!!! I cannot wait until he can wear them -- they are super cute!  Right now, he is rolling around in my tummy!  He seems to prefer the left side of my body and is usually in the upper half of my uterus (at least it feels that way)!!!

Well, I'm going to give a shout-out to my sista for completing her first full marathon today!!! Way to go LAUREN! You rock!!!!! :)

Here's my 30 week photo!!! :)

Have a blessed week!
